Way back in 2018, long before the world was in the grip of the pandemic,
five-year-old Max and his Dad left their home in Bavaria and set off on a global adventure!
They gazed in awe at waterfalls in South America, went whale watching in New Zealand,
encountered elephants in Sumatra and climbed Table Mountain in Cape Town.
Max travelled across four different continents, learned about new cultures and made new friends along the way.
Their trip included stops in Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia,
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Madagascar.
The trip lasted from November 2018 to May 2019 and has now been turned into an illustrated book
so you can experience a journey around the world too.
Aimed at children age 5-7, but with a wider appeal to anyone interested in the unique diversity of our planet, Max Explores the World - Wave Rock, Whales and Waterfalls
is a true story written from the perspective of Max.
Full of fascinating facts and places, it might even inspire your own global adventure.
